Hello friends, my name is Alex Vaynman. What do you want to know? I've been shooting photos since I picked up my first SLR camera in 2008, and it quickly grew into an obsession. Being a photographer isn't my day job (in my case night job) though. My main job is working as hospitalist/nocturnist at night. If you want to know more about me personally, feel free to ask!

I can go on with typical buzz words you will usually hear about why you should choose me over every other photographer, however, at the end of the day photography is extremely subjective to everyone. There will be people who will love my work, hate my work, or find themselves somewhere in between. I have a large portfolio with full resolution images for your viewing pleasure. If you love what you see, then let's talk. If you hate it, then move on along. If you're somewhere in the middle, here is my pitch. I'm not too keen about paying a large amount of money for a photo shoot that will limit you to a small time frame and then maybe 10-15 photos. It sucks when you have to decline getting the additional images you love or that your $250 session ends up costing hundreds of dollars more than you expected. As someone that does this as a very passionate side hustle, I'm very happy to give you ALL of the images on the shoot and not place any time limits on the session. You tell me when it's over, not the other way around. What you pay is what you end up paying. What you see is what you get. It's that simple.

I do my work primarily at outdoor locations (though I can do indoor photos in your home, workplace, etc). I am primarly located in the greater Chicagoland area (Highland Park) and am flexible to travel throughout the area for on-location shoots. I also do spend considerable time in St. Louis, Missouri and will occasionally be in South Florida (West Palm Beach to Miami). If you have any other questions, feel free to ask!
